Clinical Operations Supervisor
Job Description New Life is searching for a dynamic Clinical Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
To uphold the mission statement of access and quality and lead by example.
Assist the Program Director in ensuring that the clinical staff receive the required clinical supervision / information to facilitate the delivery of service.
Evaluates quality of program on an ongoing basis.
Help with the growth and development of New Life and the clinical team.
Assist with the development of new service lines.
Attends clinical and administrative meetings to share information inter-departmentally.
Functions as one of the leaders of Clinical Staff Meetings in support of the Program Director Evaluates clinical staff based on specified performance standards, on a timely basis.
Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
Follows Infection Control guidelines at all times.
Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
Assists in formulating standards for patient care.
Conducts group therapy sessions and/or counsels SUD and mental health clients on one-to-one basis.
Counsels client's significant others Makes referrals to the appropriate treatment within this program or to other agencies when appropriate.
Formulates therapeutic goals with the client and assists in the actions necessary to carry out goals.
Observes, records and reports on the conditions of addicted clients and works with vocational rehabilitation, parole/probation officers, social services, and other organizations to assist clients in adjusting to community life.
Completes assessments and places clients in treatment based on ASAM criteria.
Refers clients to the appropriate self-help group as part of their treatment contract May be required to gather data for the purpose of program development and evaluation.
Completes notes in a timely manor Performs related duties as assigned This is a full-time position Qualifications Minimum license requirements - LCPC or LCSW-C with Board Approved Supervisor status A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience within a substance use treatment program or related setting.
Knowledge of JCAHO standards.
