Job Description New Life is searching for a dynamic Clinical Assessor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Completes and submits psychosocial assessments and integrated summary within COMAR and Joint Commission guidelines.
Integrated summary is thorough and includes all pertinent information found within the assessment necessary for treatment plan (ie demographics, biomedical conditions, mental health concerns, trauma history, history of SI/HI, employment status, living arrangements, etc.
).
Completes an initial Treatment Plan following the completion of the assessment.
Obtain required authorizations for treatment from any/all insurance facilities.
Communicates effectively with any outside agency such as parole/probation, EAP's, Social Services, as well as Drug Court, Diversion and probation.
Evaluates the patient's needs and determines if a mental health appointment is needed.
Maintains a list of all completed psychosocial assessments.
Communicates effectively with primary counselors.
The ability to facilitates IOP and/or COC groups is a plus.
Assists in training of new clinical staff and interns if needed.
Qualifications CSC-AD, CAC-AD Certification from the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.
2
years experience in an addiction/mental health treatment setting Knowledge of 12-step recovery programs.
Ability to work with male/female, adult (18-over) substance abuse/dually diagnosed/opiate dependent population.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
