Responsibilities Manage all functions and activities of the Seafood department, including planning, ordering, preparing cutting lists, and processing seafood according to sales history and product movement to maximize sales and gross profit.
Responsible for achieving production and budget objectives.
Responsible for achieving sales, gross profit, labor, shrink and inventory goals.
Responsible for product ordering, quality, presentation, merchandising, pricing, stocking, staffing, training, turnover and morale.
Responsible for staff performance management, including development.
Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all customers Maintains safety and sanitation standards in all areas that encounter seafood and in the prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
Communicates customer requests/concerns to management.
Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Must possess good interpersonal skills, effective selling skills, and have an outgoing personality.
Must have at least 1 year of seafood department management experience Must be able to work well with others.
Ability to sell and interact with customers.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in a cold environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
